– In a match pitting a former WWE Women’s Champion against a former TNA Women’s Knockout Champion, it has been announced that Mickie James will square off against Awesome Kong on Oct. 1 at Northeast Wrestling’s 15th Anniversary event in Waterbury, Connecticut. This would be their first-ever meeting.
Also scheduled to take place is a match fit for an episode of Monday Night Raw in 2005, Carlito vs. Shelton Benjamin. For more information on the event, visit www.northeastwrestling.com. Bryan Danielson is also scheduled to appear.
